Business Expense Spreadsheet operates this publication. This page explains the information used by its pages, contact form and original workbook pack.
Who controls your information
Questions about this site's information practices can be sent through the contact page. Do not include live financial documents in a general question. The workbook is designed for your own private storage; the website does not need your business transactions to explain or preview it.
What signup boxes, email and analytics collect
The live pack request form asks for an email address and uses signed spam-prevention checks. An accepted request opens a private download page immediately; file access does not depend on marketing consent or email delivery. The separate marketing checkbox is unchecked by default. If you select it and your request is identified as coming from the US, we send your address, consent wording, source page, consent time and pack link to Sequenzy for the pack email and recordkeeping programme. Outside the US, or when we cannot identify a US location, the request provides files only even if the box is selected: it does not create a marketing subscriber or send a pack email. We do not infer consent from a download request. The public sample requires no signup; pack links expire after seven days. If email signup cannot be confirmed, the download page remains available and tells you that email signup was not confirmed.
The contact form collects the name, email address, subject and message you choose to submit. It uses spam-prevention controls and routes accepted messages through our hosting and mail systems so we can review and answer them. A temporary delivery queue expires after 90 days; delivered correspondence follows the mail system's retention and any applicable recordkeeping requirements. Sending a contact message does not subscribe you to marketing. Keep receipts, credentials, card numbers and private client details out of messages.
The site has no configured analytics account. Software buttons currently use ordinary official links without affiliate identifiers or tracking redirects. The shared consent controls govern optional analytics if configured later. Loading pages or requesting the files still involves ordinary hosting and security requests, whether or not you choose marketing emails.
Email consent and withdrawal
Marketing is optional and currently offered only to US visitors who select the separate checkbox. The programme contains 24 practical emails over about 12 weeks, then weekly updates including software comparisons. Each email includes unsubscribe and email preferences. You can stop the programme or all marketing; we retain the suppression record so you are not silently added again. Bounces, complaints and opt-outs stop routine marketing. After 90 days without a tracked click we may send one keep-sending message; without a click after 14 more days we suppress routine marketing. Viewing a guide or contacting us does not subscribe you.
Processors and retention
Cloudflare processes signed form protection, short-lived security limits and the private download service. Sequenzy processes opted-in subscriber records, message delivery and tracked email links. Consent and suppression records are retained while needed to operate the programme and honor your choices; contact us to request access or deletion. A hashed request intent is retained for 30 days to avoid replaying an uncertain signup. Private pack files are stored in R2 and served through expiring signed links. Business records entered into a private copy of the workbook stay under your own storage and sharing choices; they are not sent to this website by the formulas.
Use the contact route for an information question or deletion request concerning a message you submitted. Include enough information to identify the request without sending new sensitive documents. Applicable rights depend on the circumstances and jurisdiction.
Your choices
Use the site's privacy controls to review optional tracking choices. Requesting the pack alone does not enroll you in marketing. Unsubscribe or use email preferences to change your email choices. For a question about a contact message or a privacy right, use the contact page with enough detail to identify the request. Keep new financial records and credentials out of the message.
Download licence and use terms
The original pack permits free personal and internal-business adaptation and printing. It does not permit resale or redistribution of the pack. Link to a public preview page when citing it. Keep an untouched version before editing formulas or structure.
The files are recordkeeping aids. They do not establish allowable tax deductions, approve claims, create verified signatures or connect bank accounts. Examples are fictional. Check the stated formulas, sources and limits against the task before relying on a result.
Use one reporting currency in the core file and preserve private source evidence. Invalid or missing required inputs remain unresolved rather than known zero amounts. Spreadsheet protection reduces accidental edits; it is not encryption or a guarantee of confidentiality.
